Chatsworth, CA- Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing, Inc. (Ontic), a BBA Aviation company and the aerospace industry's leading provider of 'Extended Life Solutions' for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy products, has acquired an ESU product line from Curtiss-Wright.
The ESU (Ethernet Switch Unit) functions as a router and a switch, making local forwarding decisions to devices operated in the Ml 09 Paladin Self-Propelled Howitzer (PIM) and Bradley Fighting Vehicle's LAN (local area network).
The product line will be transitioned via Ontic's proven adoption process into Ontic's Chatsworth, California facility. Ontic will provide the customers with complete support including production and aftermarket manufacturing and MRO services.
